Sophomore Robotics and AI Engineering students have made an impressive mark at the 2023 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Biomimetics (IEEE ROBIO 2023) with two of their submissions. The paper titled ‘Autonomous Modular Harvesting System for Vertical Aeroponic Farming,’ which stands out as a state-of-the-art automated farming system, was published in the System Modelling section, showcasing an advanced solution for modern agriculture. Another paper, ‘Autonomous Rescue Hexapod Robot with AI Human Detection and Tracking,’ was selected for the Human-Robot Systems section, reflecting a significant contribution to rescue robotics.
