Third-year students from the Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Engineering International Program at King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL) have secured the first runner-up at the 2023 ASEAN-ROK Youth Metaverse Idea Contest held in Busan, South Korea.
The 2023 ASEAN-ROK Youth Metaverse Idea Contest, focused on Cultural Heritage, has concluded successfully. This event, co-organized by the Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency (BIPA) and the ASEAN-ROK Working Committee on Cultural Heritage Cooperation.
The contest provided a platform for ASEAN college and graduate students to showcase their creative ideas related to cultural heritage and tourism, utilizing immersive technologies such as XR (VR, AR, MR) and the Metaverse. This convergence of technology and culture highlights the potential of emerging digital solutions in preserving and promoting the rich cultural heritage of the ASEAN region.
